Benefits of Agniveer Agnipath Scheme in Air Force Duration of Jobs: 04 Years . AGNIVEER will get Skill Certificate. AGNIVEER VAYU will be provided non-contributory life Insurance cover of Rs 48 lakhs for the duration of their engagement period as AGNIVEER VAYU in the Indian Air Force. AGNIVEER VAYU will not be governed by provisions contained in the Pension Regulations/Rules for Indian Air Force.

Training: On being enrolled, AGNIVEER VAYU will be imparted military training based on Indian Air Force requirement. Leave : Annual : 30 Days, Sick Leave. Based on Medical Advice. The candidates who become Agniveer will get 10% reservation in recruitment in Assam Rifles, CAPF. Uttar Pradesh / Madhya Pradesh and other states will also give preference to Agniveer in police department recruitment. Personnel enrolled under this Scheme will not be eligible for Ex-Servicemen status.

Age Limit and Eligibility Criteria of Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu

• Minimum Age : 17.5 Years
• Maximum Age : 23 Years
• Age Between : 26/12/2002 to 26/06/2005 . Read the Notification for Age Relaxation.
• Eligibility Criteria :- Pass Class 12th (Intermediate) with Mathematics, Physics and English with Minimum 50% Marks. and 50% Marks in English.
• OR 03 Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with Minimum 50% Marks and 50% Marks in English in Diploma Course.
• OR 02 Year Vocation Course with Non Vocational Subject Physics and Math from Any Recogized Board with 50% Marks Aggrgate and 50% Marks in English. For More Details, Read the Official Notification.
• Passed Class 12th 02 Year Vocation Course with Minimum 50% Aggregate and 50% Marks in English.
