Age limit
- Candidates who are applying online must born before 01 May 2002
- Candidates who are applying online must not born after 31 October 2002
- Candidates must completed age of 17.5 years and age not greater than 23 years .
Application fees
- All General, OBC & EWS Candidates have to pay application fees of Rs-550/- + 18% gst
- All SC/ST Candidates have to pay application fees of Rs-550/- + 18% gst

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR & MR Educational Qualification
- Candidates who are applying for the post of SSR must have passed Intermediate Examination from any recognised Institute in India. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Maths, Physics with one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Biology or Computer Science
- Candidates who are applying for the post of MR must have passed 10th ( High school ) / Matriculation examination from any recognised Board of India.
Nationality & Marital Status
Candidates must Be Indian Citizen Only. Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible for enrolment as Agniveer in IN. Candidates will have to give a certificate of being ‘unmarried’ at the time of enrolment. Agniveers shall not be permitted to marry during their entire tenure of four years in the Indian Navy. A candidate shall be dismissed from service if he/ she marries during his/her tenure or is found to be already married despite giving certificate of being unmarried.
Photograph & Signature
Passport size recent colour photograph (taken not before November 2022) of size 10 KB to 50 KB (front portrait in light background without head gear except for Sikhs). The photograph is to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his/her chest with his her name and date of photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters. Change in appearance like growing beard, head gear, etc in comparison to the photograph may result in cancellation of candidature.
