After the meeting, Dr. S. Siddhartha, Additional Chief Secretary of the Cabinet Secretariat, informed that these posts will be filled phase-wise under the Home Department. Will be appointed. He said that keeping in view the capacity, means and amount of training of police personnel, The restoration will be done by the state government. In 48,447 posts, 20,937 of police sub-inspector and equivalent, 22,010 of constable and equivalent and Constable driver will be reinstated on the remaining posts.
